Product Description

Cajoled between the arms of the Rhone and the Mediterranean Sea, the Camargue affirms a rustic character by cultivating its smells, those of the infinite rice fields, marshes with bronze waters and salines with bloom of clouds; those also wild horses and cattle.

This land of salt and livestock, swept by the Mistral and adorned with gypsy legends, breathes nature with full nose; the master perfumer Alberto Morillas had only to dig in, here the smell of milk rice, there a fresh breath and iodized bergamot, to draw little by little his painting, a kind of olfactory utopia where nature would have filled all space, beyond man and time.

Mojave Ghost opens with a familiar yet mysterious fruit note, like a pear grown on another planet. Languid and almost buttery ambrette and sandalwood facets smooth and stretch these slices of fruit into a golden desert sunset, with petals of violet and magnolia basking in its diminishing light. Warm woods and ambergris remain on the skin for hours, prolonging a magic desert twilight.

Ambrette, sapodilla, violet, sandalwood, magnolia, ambergris, and cedar.
